Inspected a home I was interested in Camey, Frisco, TX 75034.

"Our inspection was done by J.J. Petersen. He was cordial, on time and very thorough. The inspection took approximately 3 and a half hours. Took lots of pictures and covered the property completely. Interior and exterior. Took plenty of time for our questions afterward, being sure to be specific.  Pointed out essential opposed to non-essential problems."

Inspected a home I was interested in in Casa View Heights, Mesquite, TX 75150.

"J.J. the inspector was excellent! He showed up and performed everything according to schedule and was extremely thorough. I also appreciated his patience in explaining things to me that I did not understand. I would highly recommend."

"JJ was recommended to me by someone who bought an expensive home recently. He is very professional, clean, can get into small places, records conditions, documents deficiencies and recommends procedures if more information is needed. He is through, provides a detailed report with photographs to supplement his findings. You will "see" all that you need to know BEFORE you proceed with a transaction. I will also hire him to do his inspection before I try to sell a home again. By fixing the problems beforehand, I won't have to deal with repairs. He took time for me to understand what he was talking about with his technically correct terminology. I learned a great deal and was alerted to things that were different than perceived or just unnoticed. Worth every penny!"

"J.J. Petersen exceeded my expectations. My father and I met him at the house while he was performing the inspection. J.J. was very friendly and patient. We could see he was working hard, moving quickly through the house, measuring and testing everything. J.J.  emailed me the inspection report within 24 hours of the inspection. The report was thorough and had high quality digital photographs accompanying detailed verbal descriptions. (Since I have no expertise with houses, the photos really helped me understand what the issues were.) Honest, trustworthy, fast, thorough, and helpful recommendations. Thank you."

"JJ Petersen inspected a home that I was considering purchasing. He arrived early and was up on the roof when I arrived. He spent a good 4 or more hours on the inspection, documenting his findings with a digital camera and using a mini-recorder to capture his  thoughts. Following the inspection, he pointed out areas of concern to me.

The next day, he emailed his inspection report to me and my realtor. The unbiased report documented the good and the not-so-good points about the home. Showing the seller the report (with the photographs) made it easier for me to request remediation for areas of concern.

Is price a concern? It shouldn't be. I've seen reports from other inspectors whose charges were in the same price range and they weren't nearly as comprehensive as the report I received. "
